Ranger Up

  •   Our Sponsor - Ranger Up

Ranger Up is a warrior sponsor for the 2013 Run Ranger Run!

Ranger Up launched on 8 September 2006. We make shirts for the military and the patriotic Americans who love the men and women of the Armed Forces. The guys that own this company either were or are still in the military.

For more information or to purchase one of their amazing shirts go to: http://www.rangerup.com.

What Ranger Up Stands For:

1. AMERICA. Nothing like her anywhere, anytime, in the history of the world.

2. Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coastguardsmen, Firemen, and Police Officers. Basically, the crazy SOBs that put their lives on the line every day for less pay than they deserve so that we Americans can sit in front of our plasma televisions and watch crappy reality TV shows, drive nice cars, eat great food, and generally not have to worry about anything of substance.

3. Veterans. From George Washington to the newest recruit and everyone in between – Thank You.

4. Patriots. We’re talking about the people that believe the Fourth of July is more than just an excuse to set off fireworks, that flying the American Flag all year long is a civic duty, that taking the time to send letters to our troops is an honor, and who realize that America wasn’t forged on the backs of journalists, politicians, or campus rallies, but rather through the suffering and discipline of steely-eyed men who refused to accept defeat.

5. Dogs. Never trust anyone that doesn’t like dogs. They’re loyal. They’d die for you, and all they want in return is some dried food, some petting, and the occasional piece of bacon.

6. Reversing the growing oppression of the proletariat in today’s society. We…uhhh…think this is a good idea.

7. Hot chicks. Honestly, aren’t they the reason we do anything?

    • Swim, Bike, Run. Elite Team!

Ranger Dan Filipiak served in 1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 1st Ranger Battalion. Dan was a successful graduate of Army Airborne School, Ranger Indoctrination Course (RIP), and Army Ranger School. Furthermore, Dan deployed to combat in support of the global war on terror. He was a pleasure to be around, even in the most unpleasant of times. Yet, only months after leaving active duty, our brother in arms took his own life.

Why Swim.Bike.Run. Elite Team? The goal for each of our team members is to complete at least 565 miles in the month of February. Whether it be through swimming, biking, or running, every mile will count toward his or her individualt goal.Who are we? We are a group of endurance athletes, inspired by Cory Smith, that hope to raise awareness, and hopefully a little dough, by logging an overall team total of at least 5650 miles. Please take a few seconds to read about the cause, give what you can, and if you are up to the challenge, join the team! I dare you to join us...but remember, we are each responsible for 565 miles! So, if you decide to Ranger-up, don't forget: Surrender is NOT a Ranger word! Every little bit helps! No donation is too small!

Thank you for opening this event to the public. I followed Cory on Facebook when he was running home. It was empowering watching him take on such a challenge. I was moved by such an event. I\'m proud to take on such a challenge in February. In the 3 days I formed Sua Sponte Washinton we\'ve managed to raise $300. This feeling is truly amazing. I thank all the people who\'ve helped put this event together especially my Ranger Buddy, Cory. From the bottom of my heart, God Bless You!!
