- GallantFew Executive Director: “From the inspiration of Ranger veteran Cory Smith – the physical embodiment of the difficult journey from soldier to civilian – came Run Ranger Run. Without Run Ranger Run, GallantFew would only be able to help a fraction of the veterans we serve”. Monger continues, “We believe that communities are the answer to veteran transition issues. Our work must be of the community, by the community and for the community. Run Ranger Run is an amazing example of community coming together in support of and advocacy for our transitioning Veterans.”
- 2016 Run Ranger Run Participant: “Thank you for all of your help and for this wonderful event. I can’t tell you how much this has brought my husband (a combat veteran) out of his shell for a while. Its been great!”
- 2016 Run Ranger Run Participant: “Thank you for supporting this event. I found it because I was at a really low point and searching for something to help me feel as though I belong and have a purpose. This event, although virtual, brought back that wolf pack feeling I was searching for. I ran everyday, on a trail or park, and serioulsy felt as if I have twenty people running with me…yet I was alone.”
